Nissan updated the Rogue for the 2017 model year while this generation arrived in 2014. The 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid and non-hybrid version won’t be the subject of the big upgrades. The hybrid powertrain combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and electric components for the total output of 176 horsepower. A 30-kW electric motor is fed by the lithium-ion battery and the continuously variable transmissions also the part of the system.

With the front-wheel-drive, the hybrid manages 33 mpg city and 34 mpg highways. The AWD version scores 31 mpg city and 33 mpg highways.


The Nissan Rogue doesn’t bring much excitement with its styling but it one handsomely styled compact crossover SUV. The reports indicate that next-generation Rogue will go through the radical styling surgery and switch to the new platform.

In the meantime, the 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid will return in the same form. Nissan will likely throw new color option and wheel design in the game. The special edition version could also appear but likely for the non-hybrid version.


The new-gen Rogue will switch to the new platform but should stay in similar dimensions. The Rogue has comfortable and supportive seats and also uses good quality materials.
